Bob was a good neighbor. We first met him on a stormy night when his wife Carlene phones and laughingly said, "we have a big problem and need you to come."It seems as if our 130 pound Great Dane and our English Shepherd had been so terrified by the weather that they were cowering in front of the door and Bob couldn't get in the house. Bob could have scared them off, but his heart was generous. By the time we were up the hill, Bob had both dogs calmed down by probably telling one of his stories and it was apparent that he was their hero.Bob was a special person
