Clifton "Wayne" Betts' Obituary
Clifton Wayne Betts, age 67, of Rogers passed away Thursday November 17, 2022, in Rogers. He was born April 22, 1955, in San Pablo, California the son of Robert Clifton and Mildred Christine Clark Betts. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was an avid outdoorsman, he developed Betts Game Calls which became popular in the duck hunting world. He loved to go fishing with his kids and granddaughter which he called his little “Booger Baby”. In his earlier years he helped run the family business Betts Alarm Company in San Pablo California. He was married to the love of his life for 46 years and they shared many wonderful memories together. He was a great father, and he was the world’s best “Peapaw” ever. His grandchildren meant the world to him. He also loved his three little fur babies Ziggy, Yosamo and Scooter. He touched so many lives and will truly be missed.
He is survived by his wife Mary Betts, his son Clifton Betts and daughter in law Maria Betts, daughter Selena Freeland and son in law James Freeland, son Chris Betts and his grandchildren Anthony Vega, Aaliyah Freeland, Yeshua Betts, and Alayshia Freeland. His sisters Brenda DeShields of Rio Vista California, Cindy Lininger of Rio Vista California, and Roberta Betts of San Pablo California.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday December 2nd at Nelson-Berna Rogers.
