Clyde Junior Guist's Obituary
Mr. Clyde Junior Guist, 75 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Friday, May 18, 2007 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born February 27, 1932 in Fayetteville, AR to Jack and Ina (McClendon) Guist. He was retired after 20 years from Campbell Soup Company, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Leota Guist, two sons; Gerald Guist of Centerton, AR, Marlin Guist of Fayetteville, AR, one daughter; Kim White of Roland, OK, six sisters; Betty Aldridge of Edmond, OK, Piney Luper and Carolyn Spears both of Springdale, AR, Marcella Sides of Durham, OK, Frances Bonner of Fayetteville, AR, Ruth Hunter of Washington D.C., one brother; Robert Guist of Siloam Springs, AR, six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 20, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville, AR.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, May 21, 2007 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Donald Brannan officiating. Burial will follow at Tharpe Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy McClendon, Billy McClendon, Larry Long, Leon Hollingsworth, Richard Hollingsworth, L.D. Parks.
