I didn't have the pleasure of personally knowing Lt. Colonel Perry. I knew both his sons, Harold Perry, jr and Harry Perry from work at Dillon's grocery store. I live in TX and was unaware of Lt. Mr. Perry was my teacher at FHS.He was a great teacher as well as a great man.He will be missed by many.

Mr. Perry was a wonderful teacher. He is the reason that I got involved with city goverment. I loved his class and the stories he would tell. I was blessed to have him as a teacher.

I am a better citizen for having Mr. Perry as a teacher. As much as I hated memorizing parts of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, I am so thankful now that he made us do it. Truly understanding the principles our country was founded on is rare today. I thank him for that gift. The Colonel was a great American.

My condolences to your family. Mr. Perry was my teacher at Farmington. He was an incredible teacher who encouraged us to love history and never failed to make me smile. Always insisting g to use the French pronunciation of my last name. I have thought him fondly over the last years.
