Con J. O'Donnell's Obituary
Cornelius James O’Donnell, Jr., 89, of Fayetteville, AR, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. He was born in Kansas City, MO to Cornelius James Sr., and Mary Zmek O’Donnell. He worked for the Chevrolet Division of General Motors for 39 years. In that time, he traveled frequently and befriended many. He retired to Fayetteville, AR where he and his wife volunteered for Washington Regional Memorial Hospital for ten years. Throughout his life, whether working or retired, he was known as a witty Irishman, always ready with a story or a joke to lighten hearts and brighten smiles. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and niece.
C.J. is survived by his wife Pauline and three daughters: Cathleen Klippert and her husband Tim of Chicago, Illinois; Patricia Curtis and her husband Duane of Kansas City, Missouri; Jude Roth and her husband Don of Overland Park, Kansas, and one grandson, Michael Roth.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday, February 4, 2013, at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Memorial Mass will be 11:00 am Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Saint Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale.
