Cora Smith's Obituary
Cora “LaVona” Smith, 70, of Elkins, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009, in Potosi, Missouri. She was born February 28, 1939 in Preston, Idaho to George D. “Kirby” Carver and Sarah Jane (Barnes) Carver. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her husband; Gerald B. Smith, three sons; Thomas Ray Smith of Greenville, South Carolina, Kenneth Van Smith of Fayetteville, Arkansas, David Lynn Smith of Owasso, Oklahoma, on sister; Clara Christenson of Grace, Idaho, twelve grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren Funeral services will be 12:30 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Bishop Mark Wagstaff officiating. Burial will follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Monday, May 18, 2009 in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
