A truly good man, Curtis was a trusted supervisor who cared about his red coats and yellow smocks with generosity and compassion. RIP dear Curtis, see you on the other side.
Curtis was one of the finest people I have ever met. I worked for him for 15 years as an usher at the University of Arkansas. He always found time to discuss any problems with you and always protected your backside. We have lost a true friend in Curtis. He will be missed by many...
It was truly a blessing that Curtis (and his wife Georgia Ann) were part of our lives. I was one of Curtis' "red coats" in the UofA usher personnel. When I first met Curtis, I asked if he was related to Ann Yates, who I met through our mutual music friends, Donna and Kelly Mulhollan. This led to a dear friendship outside of work; so much so he gave me away at our wedding. He will be dearly missed.
What a blessing and honor to work with and know Curtis and Georgia Ann! When I was hired to work as an usher, I had asked Curtis if he was related to Ann Yates as I had met her through our common friends Donna and Kelly Mulhollan. Thus began a long time friendship that included Curtis giving me away at my wedding at the Blue Hole in Prairie Grove. Rest in peace Curtis. You will be missed.
Although I didn't know Curtis well, he and his family have been part of the Pettigrew-Madison County community with my in-laws, Wayne and June Martin, as long as I can remember. What wonderful people he and his whole family are! I have watched his family love and care for him, and no one could have been more blessed. Please accept my condolences. Wishing you peace and wonderful memories.

Our prayers for Uncle Curt’s family. Many good memories from our growing up years. Especially the 2 years he lived with us and finished high school! Uncle Curt was the brother I never had! Looking for to our reunion in Heaven. Sending our love!
