Dahrron Ontraia Moss' Obituary
Dahrron Ontraia Moss, age 47 of Cave Springs, Arkansas passed away May 10, 2024. He was born September 15, 1976, in Helena, Arkansas the son of Lionel Moss and Denise Olloway.
Dahrron attended Helena-West Helena Central High School. After graduation he attended the University of Arkansas where he was a member of the Razorback football team. Dahrron began his law enforcement career in 2001 at the Fayetteville Police Department before transitioning to the Bentonville Police Department. During his tenure at the Bentonville Police Department, he served in various roles, including patrol duty, as a School Resource Officer at Bentonville High School, and as a Detective in the Criminal Investigation Division before resigning to pursue opportunities in school district transportation and eventually at WalMart Corporate. He was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ.
Dahrron dedicated years to volunteering as a football coach for numerous organizations, a role he cherished deeply. Coaching children and young adults brought him immense joy as he fostered numerous meaningful connections and took pride in witnessing their personal growth into exceptional individuals.
Dahrron is proceeded in death by his grandfather Malvin Olloway; his grandmother Anna Twilley and his cousin Dalvin Franklin.
He is survived by his wife Karie Moss; (3) daughters Shonqawnicka Layton, Dahranesha Vann (her husband Alexander Vann) and Lauryn Moss; (2) sons Anthony “A.J.” Moss and Austin Moss; one granddaughter, Hudsyn Vann, his mother Denise Olloway; his father Lionel Moss; his maternal grandmother Ira Olloway; his brother Marlowe Alexander and his wife Vanessa; his sisters Jasmine Moss and Vermisha Hillard; his father and mother-in-law John and Mary Juarez; brother-in-law Joe Juarez; sister-in-law Lily Juarez; (4) nephews Rodrigo and Santiago Juarez, Trey Earl and Sebastian Alexander and (2) niece’s Madison Juarez and Marnae Alexander.
A visitation will be held on Thursday May 16th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at Bentonville Church of Christ with burial to follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers.
