Daisy Marie Shackelford's Obituary
Daisy Marie Shackelford, age 85, of Fayetteville, died Monday, May 18, 2020 in Fayetteville. She was born July 21, 1934 in Livingston County, Missouri, the daughter of John and Mayme Thompson Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Shackelford, a daughter Linda Feltner, three sisters Goldie Gray, Judy Taylor, Mabel Smith: four brothers Willie Simmons, Robert Simmons, Hubert Simmons and Virgil Simmons.
She was a retired employee of the Campbell Soup Company.
She is survived by three daughters Susan Bottoms & her husband Earl of Birch Tree, Missouri, Karen Foshe & her husband Jackie of West Fork, Arkansas and Connie Boles & her husband Giel of Colorado Springs, Colorado; a sister Darlene Casella of New Jersey; one brother, Mitchell Simmons of Bard, California; ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday May 22, 2020 at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday at Moore’s Chapel with interment in the Fayetteville National Cemetery at a later date. During the Covid 19 pandemic, all visitations and services will be held in accordance with Arkansas Department of Health guidelines.
