Dan; gave me my first New Orleans experience, and I never got over it. Still recovering 50 years later. But that's Dan, entertaining you, not dwelling on himself. The only one he looked down on was the person he bent down to help up.
Terrance and I extend our deepest sympathy to Dan's children, Brooke & Brian, his sisters Betty & Kathy, his former wife Kay (& husband in law - that sounds just like Dan!) and his Lafayette, LA family. Thinking of all of you, especially Charlie, Dell and Camille. We were so crazy about Dan - he had the biggest heart - and was all out love and happiness! Whenever we were together having some kind of fun or even at work at Grant Street where he brought heart and soul to the place, he always talked about his children. I'll never forget how he lit up when he said their names. Our hearts are heavy with sadness for everyone who loved him. We missed him dearly when he left Lafayette, but his memory lives on. We will indeed buy someone a drink and smile as we remember him.
I miss the old days, the fishing and canoe trips, the laughter around the dinner table. A big guy with a bigger personality. God bless.Roy and Teresa Frusha
