Dan Lilze's Obituary
Dan Lilze passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, AR. He was born to William Jefferson Lilze and Evea Lee (Reese) Lilze on February 5, 1940 in Birmingham, Alabama.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1958 to 1961. Dan worked for Pepsi Cola Company in Milpitas, CA from 1967 to 1987, and retired from George’s Gas Company in Springdale, Arkansas in 2006.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Dan leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Norma Jean Lilze, sons, Daniel Eugene Lilze II, of West Fork, AR, and Todd Michael Lilze & wife Vicky, of Rogers, AR, one daughter, Lisa Mishelle Lilze & husband Marc Noe of Springdale, AR, and two granddaughters, Rachael & Jessica Lilze who were the joy of his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762, and the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel, Fayetteville, AR., with Pastor Wesley Wallace officiating.
