Daniel McArthur Jr's Obituary
Daniel McArthur Jr., age 64, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in Bryant, Arkansas. He was born June 2, 1958, in Fort Polk, Louisiana to Daniel and Betty (Stacy) McArthur. He retired from the Arkansas Highway Police after 30 years of service. He then went to work for the Bauxite Police Department for about four years. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Linda Southern.
He is survived by his former wife Millie McArthur of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Sandra Smith of Benton, Arkansas; son, John Thomas Berg of Malvern, Arkansas; brother in law, Herb Southern of Springdale and his lifelong companion, his German Shepherd, Major.
Graveside service will be 1:30 pm Friday February 10, 2023 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
