So thankful for this man and his wife who were deacons in a church we pastored but more than that, dear friends. They were always every pastor’s friend. Our son, Joseph sends his thoughts and prayers. Joseph caught his first fish with Danny! We have precious memories of this great man.
We fondly remember those beautiful days of worshiping with you at McAllen First Assembly. We will see you and Bro. Danny the other side of the pearly gates.
My heart is heavy for your loss, but I know y’all take comfort that Danny loved our Lord and is celebrating in his arms and is pain free. I first met y’all in 1975 when we bought your house.He was easy to make friends with and I spent several years hunting and fishing with him. He could always smile and laugh and take life’s bumps with confidence that everything would work out.I don’t travel well, so I won’t be able to attend his services. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I only was privileged to know your beloved Husband, Dad and Grandfather and Great Grandfather for a short season of his life but the legacy of love and Christ like example he lived will always be thriving in each of you. May the Lord grace your hearts with the comfort only the Holy Spirit can bring. I rejoice in his life so well lived, a faithful man who ran his race well, and knowing he is at peace and rest, free of pain and struggle in the arms of our beloved Savior. You will be in my prayers.
