Danny R. Wood's Obituary
Danny R. Wood, age 71, of Winslow, Arkansas, passed away on June 26, 2024, in Gravette, Arkansas. He was born on March 4, 1953, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Emery Woods and Eula Isabell (Allen) Woods. Danny graduated from Winslow High School and went to work for Ozark Electric in Fayetteville. He married Earlean Cox on December 20, 1975, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Danny retired from Ozark Electric after working there for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Eula Woods, and sister, Bernice Jackson of West Fork, Arkansas.
Danny is survived by his wife, Earlean; daughters, Melissa Wood of Winslow, and Jennifer Clark and husband Cody of Fayetteville; brother, James Woods of Winslow; sister, Jean Friend of West Fork; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2024, at Freedom Cemetery, near Chester, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lester C. Howick Animal Shelter, 801 W.
