Darrell Fred Rosen's Obituary
Darrell Rosen, age 66, of Springdale Arkansas passed away on Thursday January 16, 2025.
He was born on January 5, 1959, in Bryan Texas to Joesph & Mildred (Millie) Rosen. Darrell was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He valued hard work, integrity, family, and faith.
Darrell was a proud graduate of Sam Houston State College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and later in life his master’s from John Brown University in Leadership & Ethics. Darrell’s professional career spanned over 40 years starting in grocery stores his father owned, being an executive at Procter & Gamble, and finally working as a General Manager at Thomas Fence. He loved his work and the people he worked with. He was proud of the impact they made together. Darrell also believed in the importance of giving back. He served on several nonprofit boards throughout his life and was always ready to lend a hand to those who asked.
The only thing Darell was more passionate about than his career was his family. He coached his children in youth center sports, mentored them into successful adults, and prioritized spending time with the families they built. He was a remarkable father and an incredible grandfather. He looked for every opportunity to build memories with his grandchildren. Family was everything to Darrell.
Darrell is survived by his three children Holly Bourland, Amanda (Adam) Bailey, and Max Rosen; and three grandchildren Penelope Bourland, Lincoln Bourland, and Alice Bailey; his sister Darla Inman; his niece Courtney Jones, great nephew Christian Jones-Crumbley and great niece Isabella Jones- Crumbley.
