Darwin Lee Morhain's Obituary
Darwin Morhain, age 67, passed away Wednesday in Bentonville. He was born September 12, 1947 in Grand Island, Nebraska the son of Elmer and Opal Watson Morhain. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; one brother Maurice “Bud” Morhain and a sister Verna Stout; and his father-in-law Harold Fenton.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and severed during the Vietnam War. He supported all veterans and was a member of the VFW, DAV, and American Legion. He loved claw machines and painting rocks. He also was an avid bowler. He was very proud to lead the Veterans parade at Silver Dollar City for the raising of the colors.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of Rogers, Arkansas; two brothers Elmer Morhain of Atlanta, Georgia and Michael Morhain and his wife Valerie of Warwick, Rhode Island; his Mother-in-law Rose Fenton of Lowell, Arkansas; two sister-in-laws Sharon Morhain of Grand Island, Nebraska and Georgia Madison and her husband Clifford of Tampa, Florida and their children Teresa and Tom Yochum of Counsel Bluff, Iowa, Trevor Sok and his wife Laurie of Tampa, Florida; two brother-in-laws Robert Fenton and his wife Jeannine of Hudson, Florida their children Brian and Amanda Fenton of Rogers and family, Arkansas, Jody and Rusty Johnson of Hindsville and family; and Geno Fenton and his wife Bridgette of Lowell, Arkansas and their children Lucas and Brandi Fenton of Lowell, Andrew and Amanda Fenton of Springdale, Arkansas, Adam and Megan Theesen-Fenton of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Kameron Cunningham of Goshen, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs Brutis, Sheba, Patches, Grumpy, Rosco, and Bitty.
Graveside Service will be Monday December 22 at 10:00 A.M. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
