Daryl Gene Osburn's Obituary
Daryl Gene Osburn, age 61, of Winslow, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
Daryl was born December 13, 1961, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to William Walter “Demi” and Maggie (Creech) Osburn. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He was a lifelong resident of Brannon Mountain. He raised chickens, beef cattle and loved to work on old cars. Daryl was a simple man, but he could do anything from welding to electrical work. He was also a carpenter. He was a “Jack of all trades” and would try anything. He loved exploring caves and his favorite was Blanchard Springs Caverns.
Daryl was very much loved by many, especially one little girl by the name of Bakker Maye.
Daryl is survived by his sister, Betty (Osburn) Laird and husband Jesse of Huntsville, Arkansas, his two brothers; Bobby Osburn and partner Carlos of Brannon Mountain, and Jeff Osburn and wife Jolene of Winslow, Arkansas, his two nieces, Tonya Crow and her husband Don, and Morgan Laird, his nephew, Shane Laird and his wife Kelly, his “adopted” daughter, Karin Bayliss and his “adopted” granddaughter, Bakker Maye Bayliss and his longtime best friend Jerry Miller.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10:00 am at
Brannon Mountain Cemetery in Brannon Mountain Community, Arkansas.
