David ''Grizz'' Alan Welch's Obituary
David Alan “Grizz” Welch, Sr. 56 of West Fork died Friday, August 3, 2012.
He was born October 14, 1955 in Painesville, OH the son of Floyd Welch and Helen Madarena Welch.
He married the former Pauletta King on November 23, 1974 in Painesville OH. He was employed by Chevrolet of Fayetteville at Fayetteville Auto Park and was the President of the Rural West Fork Fire Board. He was also a cattle farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Pauletta Welch of the home; son, David Welch, Jr. of Fayetteville; 2 daughters, Kimberly Neumann of Fayetteville, Alison Welch of West Fork; 2 sisters, Janet Butcher of Madison, Ohio, Cheryl Loma of Painesville, OH and 2 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7Pm on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Moore’s Chapel
Funeral service will be 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at West Fork First Baptist Church with Pastor LV Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Elkins under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
