David E. Engle's Obituary
David E. Engle, age 82, of Rogers passed away Sunday March 9, 2025, in Rogers after a long, determined fight with heart disease. He was born July 11, 1942, in Beaumont, Texas the son of William “Bill” Edward and Celia Ann Gibson Engle.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
David was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After being discharged from the Marine Corps, he attended and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Wildlife Management. If you know his kids, you know that was the right degree. His professional career spanned years in the corporate world in Texas, Georgia and finally returning to his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. After a lifetime of ministering to the marginalized and vulnerable, he and his wife Beverly founded Restoration Ministries in 1989 and the Children’s Advocacy Center in 2000 in Little Flock, AR.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Beverly; they went on to build a beautiful family, which he would most often refer to as his most important legacy. He is also survived by his children David Wayne (Bob Walker-Engle), Todd (Carrie), Marque Babyar (Aron), Jonathan (Adrienne), and Natalie Tibbs (Kevin). From these five, the family grew to 18 grandchildren and their partners and 3 great-grandchildren and adding.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 15, 2025, in the Chapel on the Creeks in Rogers. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Children & Family Advocacy Center (formally Restoration Village and the Children’s Advocacy Center.)
