David Ray Farmer's Obituary
David Ray Farmer, 73, of Centerton, AR went to be with the Lord on May 16th, 2021. He was born in Pine Bluff, AR on February 3, 1948 to Francis Jean Farmer of Pine Bluff, AR and Ray Lee Farmer of Warren, AR. His brother, Joe Stephen Farmer, preceded him in death.
David graduated from Pine Bluff High School before joining the US Air Force and serving in Vietnam. He married his wife of 51 years, Diane Farmer, on April 18th, 1970. He retired from the Pine Bluff Arsenal in 2009.
David was a loving husband, father, and grandfather “Tats”. He was a man of few words with a quick, dry wit. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing, gardening and taking his time.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Farmer of Centerton, AR; son, David Farmer Jr and wife, Michelle of Benton, KY; daughter, Rebecca Taylor and husband, Landon of Bentonville, AR; aunt, Ralphie Massey of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Ashlynn, Ally, and Carson Taylor.
A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 22nd at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens, Rogers, AR at 1pm under the direction of Nelson Berna Funeral Home, Rogers, AR.
