David Joe Money's Obituary
David Joe Money, 72, passed away at home on December 17, 2025 in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He was born on June 6, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Jack and Mable (Zachary) Money.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Ben Money, Peggy Sneed, and Betty Ritter.
David was a longtime educator and retired after 33 years in the Oklahoma public school system. He notably served as Superintendent and Federal Programs Director for White Oak School and spent 17 years at Marble City School as Project Director, Teacher, and Principal. David also served as the Director of Education for the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians and was a franchise owner for H&R Block for over 10 years.
He was a proud father and grandfather and was of the Baptist faith.
David is survived by his two daughters, Terra Parker and husband, Brandon, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Laura Money of Springdale, Arkansas; five granddaughters, Ava Parker, Lyla Parker, Elise Parker, Violet Parker, and Kaia Money; along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
