David Christopher Moyers' Obituary
David Christopher Moyers left this rock in April 2026. Born on March 18, 1978, he is proceeded in death by his mother and father, Kathy and Bob Moyers of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He leaves behind many friends and people who loved him.
Born and raised in Pine Bluff, Chris made his life in Fayetteville, AR. First as a student at the University of Arkansas, then as an employee for GCM Computers. It was during these early years that he met the people of the WCDC and made some lifelong friends. Many will remember the good times had by “the crew” at Powerhouse and ROTC. After working for GCM, he spent over 10 years in IT at Washington Regional Medical Center. From HAM radio to computers, he was always "tinkering."
Chris was a lover of music- teaching himself to play his own instruments, as well as attending live shows. He enjoyed travel, sailing, and birthday trips to Hot Springs for the horse races. An avid reader and an excellent writer, he loved a good adventure, meals with friends, and sharing his home with his animals- dogs Maggie, then Liza, both of whom were named after songs, and kitty, Traxie. Whether camping, hiking, boating, or hosting backyard pig roasts with an old-fashioned pit he built himself, you could count on him to be a wonderful companion in any endeavor. You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who didn't like him.
The most loving of sons and most loyal of friends, he will be missed beyond measure.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th at Crisis Brewing in Fayetteville, AR from 4-6 PM.
