David Frederick Stebbins lived a full and wonderful life until facing a four-year battle with a painful illness, passing away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born December 7, 1946 in Hanover, New Hamps Read Obituary
Dave Stebbins was a wonderful friend and co-worker at the Bookstore. I knew him for his gentle humor, kindness, and warmth in dealing with customers. He ran our record/music section and was very knowledgeable, always helping people discover new music.He dedicated his life to that store and maintaining the Stebbins legacy and reputation for service to the Dartmouth and Hanover community.

We are so sorry to hear of David’s passing. We can still picture the Stebbins family sitting in church together. And of course then there was the excitement of the pageant. But David was always so calm and quiet and graciously smiling. Wishing you all peace and comfort.

Dear Jenny and kids,
I am so sorry to her about Dave. He was a great guy. I lost Ed after battling cancer for 2 years on January 11 of this year. Losing him was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I hope that Ed and Dave are both in Heaven now and reminiscing about old times at the Dartmouth Bookstore.
