Davis Eugene Vanover's Obituary
Davis Eugene Vanover, 87, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away August 19, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on September 30, 1936, in Dorton, Kentucky, to Vernon and Delphia (Greer) Vanover. Davis proudly served in the United States Army in Germany. Upon his return to the states, he started a family and launched his career as a successful businessman serving Houston, Texas for over 25 years. His kindness and positivity were infectious, and he made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him. He loved to spend time with his family and loved all sports (especially Kentucky Men’s Basketball- Go Wildcats!).
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Guy Vanover, Ray Vanover and Ewing Vanover, and sister, Agnes Bowen.
Davis is survived by his son Kyle Vanover and wife Shasta; grandchildren, Ramey Nicole Vanover, and Ryan Davis Vanover; and sister, Lois Weaver.
