Dean Broughton's Obituary
Dean Broughton, 80, of Fayetteville, died Monday, August 6, 2012 in Fayetteville.
She was born September 11, 1931 in Ogden, Kansas, the daughter of Verlin F. and Estella Eugenia Washington Baugus. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Broughton; two sisters, Emmaline Wright and Emma Shastid and eight brothers, Floyd, Walter, Chester, Melvin, Gayel, Max, Albert and Roy Baugus.
She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Broughton; a son, Jerry Broughton; three grandchildren, Logan Crouse, Derek Harmon and Tyler Harmon; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including, Pam Baugus and Angie Denver.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9 at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday at Moore’s Chapel with burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Gosnell.
