Dean Drummond
Dean Drummond, 85, of Brentwood, Arkansas died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in Fayetteville. He was born April 21, 1926 in Bidville, Arkansas to Tate and Mary Shepherd Drummond.
He was a cattle farmer and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ophia Shepherd Drummond; a son Roy Lee Drummond; his parents; two brothers, Danny Drummond and Cleston Drummond and two sisters, Doris Pratt and Ruth Stout.
He is survived by his wife, Dortha Branson Drummond of Brentwood; a daughter, Sharon Kay Drummond Spencer and husband Jim of Winfield, Kansas; a son, Truman Dean Drummond and wife Shirley of Winslow; a stepson, Randy Canfield and wife Laura of Brentwood and a stepdaughter, Lailani Anderson and husband Rory of Rogers; daughter-in-law, Judy Drummond of Brentwood; a sister Bethel Baskin of Clarksville, Arkansas; a brother O. Dee Drummond of Morrow, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 3 at First Baptist Church in Winslow. Burial will be in Bidville Cemetery, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 2 at Moore’s Chapel.
