My beautiful baby sister...I never dreamed this day would happen. You have been here for such a short time.I want you to know that I am honored to have you as my baby sister. I love you so much and although I would forget to tell you, I am proud of the woman you grew into. I hope someday I will grow up to be just like you. Sometimes I wonder how this earth can keep turning without DD. When we were kids we loved to play togather @ grandma's & mom's place. Then as teens we were both slightly roudy. I still remember advice she used to give me on guys, & drinking. I used to always get the bed spins till her. We would write letters since it was long distance to talk back then. And as an adult she was always there for me in good times & bad. I know people say just give it time.... RIGHT. I don't know about all of you but I will ALWAYS miss my best friend, my cousin, my sister, & my partner in crime. I love you DD. We will be togather again!

X, I was so sorry to hear of Deanne's passing when I returned from vacation on Friday. I loved her smile, sense of humor and honesty. She was very out spoken and that is a trait I wish I had more of. I missed her at the office today. It is like a star has stopped shining in the heavens. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. I know that nothing can be said or done to ease your pain. It will get better, a little each day, week, month.

Dede is an inspiration to us all. As a child she was alot like my youngest daughter, Elizabeth. She loved being with older people in the neighborhood, especially Mimi. When ever she vanished, I always knew where to find her. With Mimi, feeding her cats and enjoying all the fresh baked goodies. Dede always brought a plate home for the rest of us.

When we got older we would visit via e-mail and phone about everything. She loved all of her neices and nephews, her cats and helping everyone. Her free spirit will always live on in our hearts.
