Debra Lyne McWha's Obituary
Debra Lyne McWha, age 64, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on January 3, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 10, 1958, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Herbert Case and Patricia Ritchey Case. Debra graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1977. She attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and Nutrition. Debra married Ernie McWha on April 3, 1982, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Fayetteville. Debra was involved in the women’s ministry and enjoyed mentoring young married couples. She enjoyed music, baking, gardening, walking trails in NWA and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Patricia Case; and sister, Lee Calvert.
Debra is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ernie McWha; daughters, Megan Carpenter of Searcy, Arkansas, Trisha Hobson and husband Wade, of Dunedin, Florida, Chloe Schisler and husband Jason of Tontitown, Arkansas, and Mary Lottie McWha of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jones and Cori Carpenter, Lucy Hobson, and Zeke Schisler; and sister, Elizabeth C. Foster.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2023. The memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Fellowship Bible Church in Fayetteville, located at 3447 Arkansas Highway 112, Fayetteville, AR 72704.
