Del "Delbo" Neville Brooks' Obituary
Del "Delbo" Neville Brooks, 82, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on June 16, 2024. He was born on July 4, 1941, in Big Creek, Mississippi.
Del was a devoted man whose greatest desire was to serve Jesus. He worshipped, studied the Bible, and enjoyed fellowship in the Baptist Church. He found immense joy in working with students, especially those facing challenges similar to those he had overcome in his own life.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie; sons: Daren (and wife Maida); Foster; and Brandon; grandchildren: Ethan, Eryn, and Hunter; brother: Tommy Bobo (and wife Peggy); and nieces: Leslie Harris and Ashley Bobo. Del was preceded in death by his mother Sue Frazer and step-father Don Frazer.
Del was an alumnus of Calhoun City High School in Mississippi and furthered his education at Delta State University and the University of Arkansas.
He was an avid bicyclist in his earlier years. He played football in high school and college so it was no surprise he enjoyed rooting for the Razorbacks.
A private family gathering will be held for Del’s funeral services, arranged by Nelson Berna in Fayetteville, AR.
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
