Life Legacy
Dennis Lamont Williams was born April 4, 1951 to Nealy and Bessie Williams Thompson in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dennis received his elementary through junior high education with the Milwaukee Public School system. At the age of sixteen, Dennis moved to Monticello, Arkansas with his grandmother (the late) Mary Thompson. Dennis went on to earn his GED and later enlisted in the Navy on October 24, 1975. Dennis also earned an Associate's Degree from the McGehee Technical Institute in McGehee, Arkansas and worked as a machine mechanic for Burlington Industries from September 1977 until March 2005.Dennis enjoyed cooking and baking (especially cheesecakes), hosting many parties, being around family and friends and fine cigars. Dennis was always willing to help those in need and lived his life as he desired. Dennis was a man of his word and without any inhibitions shared his thoughts and feelings. Dennis Lamont Williams departed this life on June 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father Nealy Thompson; brothers Randall C. Thompson, Michael L. Williams and Darrell Thompson.He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Bessie Thompson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son Andre (Tina) Williams of Monticello, Arkansas; daughter Rashonda (Greg) Graham of Fayetteville, Arkansas; brothers Bryan K. (Linda) Williams, Derek L. Thompson, Lorne S. Thompson, Shawn K. Thompson, Jeffrey Thompson, Steven H. Thompson, all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; sisters Nealicia (Lisa) Thompson, Lynise Y. Thompson, Lynnette (Develt) Harris, Charisse Reed all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one aunt Zeonia Robertson of Montiello, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
