Diana Gayle Duty's Obituary
Diana Gayle Duty, age 63, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021, in Bentonville. She was born on November 8, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri to Elmer and Patsy (Pippin) James. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Duty
Diana lived her life for others. She was a homemaker who raised six ornery children with her husband of 43 years. They raised their children to respect and honor God as well as each other. She was a servant of God with a passion for the youth and music. Later in life she had an accomplished Avon career where she continued to find way to help others. If someone was struggling, she was the first to step up to help.
She is survived by her children; Erin Atwater and husband Ty of Lowell, Patrick Duty and wife Daisy of Garfield, Megan Tyler of Rogers, Michael Duty and wife Ellen of Garfield, Shelyn Duty and Erick of Bentonville, Ryan Duty of Rogers, and step-son Bobby Joe Duty, grandchildren; Joey, Jonathon, Catherine, Joseph, Renee, Travis, Zade, Jace, and one great grandchild Florence, siblings; Sherri Meyer and husband Randall of Rogers. Two nieces, one nephew and nine great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 10th at 10:00am at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Garfield. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted under the care of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers.
