Diana Jo Elam's Obituary
Diana Jo Elam of Bentonville, Arkansas was born December 21, 1959, in Bellflower, California, the daughter of Joe E. York and Camy D. Lane York. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joseph York, Jr.
Diana passed away Friday February 9, 2024, at her home at the age of 64, with her family by her side.
She was married to the love of her life, Michael Elam, for 35 years. She worked as a business analyst at Transco, NCR and Walmart. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, and being outside fishing, water skiing, snow skiing and gardening. She loved her family and adored her seven grandchildren and her great granddaughter. Diana was a Christian, loved Jesus, and relished singing with the praise and worship team in church.
She is survived by her husband Michael; two children Daniel Combs of Sheridan, Arkansas and Stephanie May (Maurice) of Pflugerville, Texas; sisters Elizabeth Burrup (Mark) of Sheridan, Arkansas and Jody Kraft of Helena, Montana; brothers Edward York of Claremore, Oklahoma and Jeffery York of Sheridan, Arkansas and a sister-in-law Mary York of Lompoc, California.
Visitation will be held Friday February 16, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Rogers. Burial will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers after the service.
Pallbearers: Edward York, Daniel Combs, Elijah Combs, Adaiah Combs, Steven Burrup, Rocco Roberts, Maurice May, and Mark Burrup. Honorary Pallbearers: Isaiah Combs, Ryan Day, and Derrick Day.
