Rick and Stef,Praying for you both. Your mom was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Always making us all feel welcome at your house. Leaving a great legacy in you two. Happy for her to be home in Heaven with Doug. Love you guys.
Such a nice lady to have in my precious memories from Helena in the fifties.
Words can't express what a wonderful woman Diane was. She was my confidant, my right hand and taught me so much as a person. I will never forget her, we had so much fun together at Lamplight and later at Aladdin Rugs. Rick and Stef, I lift you up in my prayers. She was a special lady.
Such wonderful memories of Diane and all the girls our age growing up in Helena in 40s and 50s. Miss Betty and Mr. Walter never minded having one or two more friends in their boisterous household. Happy, carefree times at her house at slumber parties and "boy/girl" parties outside around the playhouse when we were too young to "go out". I remember a fun lunch we had when we came thru Little Rock some years ago with Jane Spivey Montgomery and Lola Stewart Runyan and Diane and me. The last time I talked to Diane was when she called me after Luann Thomas McCarty's death. Know those two are having a joyous reunion along with Doug, Alan, Dalt, Betty and their parents. My sympathies to Mary, Rick and Stefanie and families along with grands and great-grand. Wish we could join you for Diane's service in Helena. Fondly, Irene King Slaughter and Leonard Slaughter, Asheville, NC
