Don Gilmore True's Obituary
Don G. True passed away on Sunday June 20, 2021. Don was born August 28, 1932 in Vaughn, Arkansas, the son of Charles (Gid) and Jessie B. Robertson True. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Beverly True Howard and brother Charles G. True.
Don is survived by his sister Connie S. True (Little Rock, Arkansas) and brothers Gary D. True (Frankin, Tennessee) and Bobby K. True (Borger, Texas).
Don went to school for 11 years at Vaughn High School and then finished at Bentonville High School in May 1950. He went to the College of the Ozarks and finished with BS/BA degree in June 1961.
Don was the pay master for T L James/JA Jones Company who was the company responsible for building the Beaver Dam from 1961-1965. He also worked as Accountant for Phillips Petroleum Company until he retired in 1988.
Graveside service will be Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10:00 am. at Barron Cemetery. The family would like to say thank you to the staff at Mercy Hospital and Circle of Life-Legacy Village for the great care given to Don.
