Donald Ray James' Obituary
Donald “Don” Ray James, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 78 years old. He was born August 11, 1947, in Hayward, California to Edward Ray and Kathleen Judith (Grubbs) James. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild Riggs James; and a brother William Keith James.
Don was a car enthusiast. He enjoyed drag racing and hanging out with his car buddies. He was a people person who never met a stranger. He was always ready with a friendly personality and a good sense of humor. He was kind and caring and will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Don is survived by his wife of 22 years, Connie King James; son Brandon James of Rogers; bonus daughters Jennifer Freeman of Santan Valley, AZ and Lisa Millsap of Bella Vista; sisters Angela James of Clyde, AR and Sandra Jacobs of Clarksville, AR; 7 grandchildren, and many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
Cremation was under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
