"Mac" Mcwethy
I had the unique opportunity to serve as Don's assistant from 1972 to 1985 and considered him to be my mentor and role model. Despite one "splintery Board" and several City Directors with their own agendas, Don always maintained an abiding interest in what was best for the citizens of Fayetteville. I will miss him greatly.
