Donald Ray Carr's Obituary
Donald Ray Carr, age 68, died Friday, October 18, 2013 at home in Sonora, Arkansas. Donald was born October 16, 1945 in Midland, Texas to George O. and Ruby Patton Carr.
He was a sergeant in the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia and his father.
He is survived by his son, Brian Carr of Rogers, Arkansas; his mother, Ruby Carr of Rogers, Arkansas; two sisters: Judy Smith and her husband Scott of Rogers, Arkansas; Jan Northcross and her husband Fred of Huntsville, Arkansas; a brother George Carr and his wife Chris of Fayetteville, Arkansas and a grandson Brian Carr, Jr. of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, Arkansas under the direction of Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Brian Moore and the MHICM team nurses; Dr. Robert Stilwell and Dr. George Patterson at the V.A. Hospital for their care helping us keep Don at home for the past five years since his wife’s passing.
