Donald Robert Mitchell
Donald Robert Mitchell, age 87, of Springdale died Sunday October 30, 2011 in Springdale. He was born January 26, 1924 in Douglas County, Missouri the son of John Lewis Mitchell and Tillie Elizabeth Robinson. He was an honored war veteran and retired Air Force Chief Warrant Officer.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna Robinson and her husband Greg of Wesley, AR; Janie Landman and her husband Michael of Fayetteville, AR; son, Dennis Mitchell and his wife Becky of Lowell, AR; step daughter, Brenda Liddell of Fayetteville, AR; two step sons, Bruce Printz of Springdale, AR; Ronald Laney and his wife Angie of Lowell, AR; eleven grandchildren, Mike Tankersley II, Sean Liddell, Shelby Liddell, Jordan Liddell, Luke Liddell, Megan Endacott, Samantha Jo Endacott, Wesley Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Joshua Printz, Taylor Jean Mitchell: one great grandson, Mike Tankersley III and former spouse and lifelong friend Betty Mitchell.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday November 3, 2011 at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Moore’s Chapel with burial at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
