Donald Larry Stanfield's Obituary
Donald Larry Stanfield, age 74, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Monday June 22, 2020 in Fayetteville. He was born June 2, 1946 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Chester and Lenora Tate Stanfield. Donald served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After the Army, Donald worked at Bear Brand Hosiery for 11 years, after which he worked for, and retired from the US Postal Service after 32 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sara Reed and his sister Sara L. Stanfield.
Donald is survived by three daughters, Sara Wilson and her husband Thomas, Traci Reed and Kristina Moore; one son, Brad Stanfield; one sister, Mary Thompson; six grandchildren, Brian Reed, Kristin Reed, Clint Love, Nakeyda Love, Andrew Henson and Alexander Stanfield; uncle, John Tate and his aunt, Nita Faye Wills.
A memorial honoring Donald’s service to his country will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
