Donna M. Hendricks' Obituary
Donna M. Hendricks, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2013, at the age of 82 years. She was born December 12, 1932
in Birmingham, Iowa to parents Ike Holt and Ida Brotzer Holt. She and her husband Don Hendricks were married for 61 years.
Donna is preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Phillips, a brother, Donald Holt, and her parents.
Donna’s passion was caring for others, and she dedicated her life to doing so by becoming first an LPN, then to a Registered Nurse Practitioner, eventually retiring from the University of Arkansas Infirmary.
She is survived by her husband, Don Hendricks of the home in Fayetteville, a daughter, Kathleen Harper of Fayetteville, a grandson, Eric Harper and wife Tammie, of Fayetteville, granddaughter, Donna Guy and husband Christopher, of Fayetteville, and three great-granddaughters, Madison, Alexandra, and Hadley Harper; and Tabetha McCain, who was like her own granddaughter.
Donna enjoyed auctions, music, puzzles, traveling coast-to-coast and border-to-border with her beloved husband and her dogs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter, 1640 S. Armstrong Road, Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
