Donnie Ray Rogers' Obituary
Donnie Ray Rogers, age 71, of Rogers, departed this life Thursday, March 6, 2014 in Rogers. He was born March 30, 1942 in Greenland, Arkansas, the son of Herschel and Helen Newman Rogers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Donnie was raised in the Church of Christ in Greenland, Arkansas. He worked for Warren Tool Company, University of Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas Mall and Lee’s Spraying Service. He loved to hunt, fish, travel and he loved cats and dogs.
He is survived by two sisters, Virginia Thames of Greenland, Arkansas and Marilyn “Judy” Henbest and her husband, Derry of Siloam Springs; a brother, Charlie Rogers and his wife Wanda of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three nieces, two nephews, four great-nieces and six great-nephews.
Visitation will be 2:00 p. m. – 4:00 p.m., Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at Moore’s Chapel followed by burial in Campbell Cemetery in West Fork.
