Donnie Ray Styron's Obituary
Donnie Ray Styron, 80, of Winslow, passed away Friday, July 19, 2013, at his home. He was born May 7, 1933 in Lake Providence, Louisiana to Wallace Franklin Styron and Mary Almeadie Blackwell Styron. Donnie Ray worked as a farmer, logger, and service station manager before retirement. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He belonged to Baptist Ford Community Church in Greenland.
Donnie Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Katie Lee Hilburn Styron; one brother, Hollice Berlon Styron and one sister, Pauline Banks.
He is survived by his children, Linda Kay Criss and husband Charles of Austin, TX, Kenneth Ray Styron of Winslow, Teresa Ann Reed and husband Allen of Winslow, Danny Lynn Styron of West Monroe, LA and Keith Styron and wife Dana of West Monroe, LA; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Lonnie Lee Styron and Barney Wayne Styron; and three sisters: Etta Juanita Herrington, Thyria Laverne Meredith and Mary Lorene Terrell.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013, at Baptist Ford Community Church. Burial will follow in Parks Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
