What a gift Heaven has gotten. I have visited and spent a great deal of time with her as a mentor and friend over the years. We remained friends and got to see each other occasionally. Jesus has gotten a very grand lady.

Dorothy Covington is one of the sweetest and gentlest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in my life. She and Jess were incredibly patient with me when I was a teenage friend of David's growing up. Some of my most fond memories were camping with Covingtons. Such a loving spirit and loving family!

My prayers to David and Ann and all of Dorothy's family. I once met her husband when he was Dean of the School of Law - he helped my family avoid paying out of state tuition after the first semester (because I had graduated from high school while living with my grandparents, my parents having moved here 6 months earlier).
