Douglas “Doug” Hall, 71 of Springdale, AR went home to be with the Lord March 20, 2014. He was born December 9, 1942 in Ft. Dodge, IA to Oren Hall and Frances (Edgerton) Hall. He was the Director of the Polk County Juvenile Home, Read Obituary
Karen and family, I was so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Doug was a great boss at Herndon House. Greg and I send our prayers for you all.
Karen and family: I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing. It has been many years since I've seen you (at lease since your move to Colorado. I worked with Doug at the Juvenile Home and spent many evenings trying to beat him (unsuccessfully) at tennis. I learned much from him about compassion and perseverance, and maybe a little about county politics. I have thought of you all many times. Blessings to you all.
Karen, My heart goes out to you and your family. I'm sure the grief I feel doesn't begin to compare with the grief you feel about loosing your life partner. I will treasure forever the memories I have of Doug and our times together. The times we spent together attending basketball games, his helping me build a porch on our house in Des Moines,our first jobs together in Davenport,visits to your homes in Colorado, Arizona and Arkansas. Memories of our relationship will be with me forever.

Doug was a good friend and fraternity brother at the University of Iowa Phi Gamma Delta. Always friendly and positive. Sorry to hear of his passing. Best wishes to his family.

Karen and family, Doug was a wonderful man and co-worker. We both attended long trainings for the Adult Probation Department together and somehow made it through them. Doug touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Karen and Family: I was sadden by the news of Doug's passing. I have not seen Doug in many years, we were high school buddies and friends when he attended Grandview and U of I. We lost touch after you moved to Nebraska. He will be missed, you and your family are in our prayers.
A wonderful person to work with. I've missed him long before now, but know that his family's grief must be devastating. I pray for their peace and comfort.
