I miss him everyday.....
He will never be forgotten!
I just found out about this tragic accident. My prayers are with all his family. What an awesome person Doug was. He lived life to the fullest.
To the family...I am so very sorry for your loss. Doug was the quickest draw with a smile, a joke, and a story. He was always glad to see you even if he had seen you every day for the last week and a half. I remember when Doug maintained the Springdale Airport. I know there had to be many Golf Courses that were jealous. Doug had good "old-fashion" pride in a job well done. He will be missed.
Doug,
I will see you at home. Keep an eye out for me...I?ll be looking for your smile.
Kevin
I went to school with Doug and I have
not seen him in years, but will never
forget him. He was a great person. May God Bless You All.
Charlie,Marty, Tria, and Beth, we are so saddened hearing about Doug. Although Orville and I had not seen Doug in a long time we still have great memories of him when he was little. He sure was a little firecracker. Charlie,we love you and pray you will find some comfort. Doug is in good hands now, waiting for us to join him someday. Tria, we cry with you. When you all come to Enid some time ago it was evident that you and Doug had a special bond. That bond is forever in your heart.. We'll be thinking of your family. We love you all
The thing I remember most about Doug was the same grin that was always on his face. He was such a good friend to my brother Kendall. Especially when he let him move into his house. He helped Kendall out when he needed a good, loyal friend. And for that our family will always be grateful. All you had to do was meet Doug one time and you knew he was a joy to be around. He had such spirit and drive to see and do things. He will be remembered as a good man.....
To his family, you are in our prayers. May God bless you with strength during this time of grieving....
Doug, you were always such a great person to be around. It always put a smile on my face when I would run into you out in the world. You'll be missed by all. Houser
I
WHEN I READ ABOUT THE PASSING OF
DOUG YESTERDAY, I WAS REALLY IN A
STATE OF SHOCK AND DISBELIEF. DOUG
WAS A GOOD FREIND TO A LOT OF US.
HIS LIFE OF 36 YEARS, SEEMS TO SHORT
OF A LIFE, A LIFE TAKEN TO SOON. I HAVEN'T SEEN OR TALKED TO DOUG,
SINCE OUR SENIOR YEAR OF SCHOOL.
BUT, THAT DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT
THAT I WAS A FREIND OF HIS, A LOT OF
YEARS HAS PAST SINCE OUR HIGH SCHOOL DAYS. BUT, I WILL ALWAYS HAVE GREAT MEMORIES AND I WILL
ALWAYS CONSIDER DOUG A FREIND.
My thoughts and prayers will be with you.
