Doyle Edwin Morrison, Jr, age 75, of Fayetteville, died Thursday, October 13, 2016. He was born June 25, 1941, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Doyle and Eliene Sweetser Morrison. Doyle was an alumni of the University of Arkansas where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He was a devoted employee to the DuPont Company serving as a chemical engineer for forty years. He also celebrated the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Pat Morrison; two sons, Tray Morrison and his wife Sue of West Fork, and John Morrison and his wife Trina of Bartlett, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Machaela, Arianna, and Teagan Morrison of West Fork, and Anna Kate and Caroline Morrison of Bartlett, Tennessee; and one sister, Martha A. Morrison and her husband Doug Talbott of Fayetteville.A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at 11:00am in the chapel at Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St, Fayetteville, AR 72703. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Willard Walker Hospice Home for their exceptional care. A special thanks to his nurses and caregivers, Janet, Alma, and Karla.
