Duane gave me so many opportunities in my working career. He was always there to guide and advise me. These opportunities gave me the chance to advance at the VA Medical Center. I will be forever grateful to him. In front of others he would always support or defend everything I did then in private he would tell me "Don't you ever do that again!"
I've missed him since he left here but I have never forgotten him just as I won't ever forget him now.
Our thoughts and condolences are with the family, especially Carol. Duane will be remembered by all who knew him.
