Because of the bad weather it wasn't possibe for me to attend the visitation or funeral to give my condolences in person to you, Lynn and Ethelyn, and your family.
Our community became a better place to live the day you (Pete, Ethelyn and Lynn) moved here from California to be our next door neighbors. It has been a privledge to know you as neighbors and call you my friends. Shirlean
We are all so sorry and surprised to hear about Pete. There are no words anyone can say that will lighten the feeling of loss. Lynn, you were so blessed to have such a great dad. I know it is very hard right now, but it does get better with time.
Although I haven't seen Uncle Pete for a number of years, I remember him as a very friendly person with a fiesty personality that made him fun to be with. Our families had many good times together on family vacations on grandma's farm in Arkansas and also in California. We all missed Pete and Ethlyn when they moved to Arkansas and I know my mom was probably hoping they would move back to California one day. It was always a treat to go over to Pete and Ethlyn's house expecially when Ethlyn was cooking! I have so many great memories of Pete and I will always treasure them.

I wish you both comfort in knowing that your dad is at peace. Although I didn't have the opportunity to know him, in knowing you, tells me what a great person he was. Your life with he and your mom speaks volumes as to the devotion and caring you show to all in your life.
In the conservations we have had I know of your love for them and there is no doubt of their love for you.
