Ed Hanshew, age 78, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1947, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Kenneth and Virgie Osburn Hanshew.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenny Hanshew.
He survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila Hanshew; sons, Mike (Michelle) Hanshew of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Deen (Lisa) Hanshew of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Clint Hanshew of Springdale, Arkansas; sister, Cindy Tew of Fayetteville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsey, Sydney, Alyssa, Devyn, and Jani; and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Center Street Church of Christ. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Center Street Church of Christ with burial to follow at Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
