Edith Mae Green Wagoner's Obituary
Edith Mae Green Wagoner, was born on October 6, 1928, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Walter Henry Green and Clara Margaret Bankhead. She was of Cherokee decent. Edith was a lifetime Christian of deep faith in Jesus. She died peacefully surrounded by people who loved her on December 12, 2025.
Edith married Raymond T. Wagoner on August 4, 1946, and they were married for 54 years. Edith and Raymond founded Fayetteville Glass Company Incorporated in 1947, along with Raymond's parents.
The company is still being operated by her family today.
Edith was predeceased by her husband Raymond, ten brothers and sisters, her son Joe Ray Wagoner and her grandson Aaron Slade Wagoner. She is survived by her son Darrell, one brother James, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She leaves a legacy of five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date.
